Right click game in library and look for tab for updates. That does not help. It's either "any time the update gets pumped out" or "when I start the game". Play "offline" mode. Incidentally, the game senses a "version change" at loadtime. I guess it compares map state in your save game against map state in the new files and acts accordingly.
1) Copy the entire C:\Users\xxxxxxxx\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2 folder ( where xxxxxxx is your username ) to somewhere safe. 2) Delete the original Documents folder. 3) Open Steam and uninstall the DLC you don't want. Wait for the game to update. 4) Start the game.
